As we wrap up the year, we would like to wish you all a wonderful holiday season! Below you will find information about our upcoming holiday breaks, Full Day Programs for Winter Break and MLK Day sign-ups (for After School students), Extracurricular sign-ups for Spring 2024, and more!

Sunshine Preschool and After School locations will not be holding our Annual Holiday Potluck this year. We will be sending home a small gift of gratitude for our students and families this holiday season later on in the month!  

Sunshine School's Referral Program!
Sunshine School is proud to present our new Referral Program for current Sunshine School families. This is your chance to spread the word about Sunshine School and earn rewards: when you refer friends and families to us, and they enroll their child(ren) in any of our full-time programs (infant, toddler, preschool, Transitional Kindergarten TK or after school), you'll earn $150 per enrollment, and your friends will receive $100 credit towards their tuition!

Holidays
Sunshine Preschool will be CLOSED from Friday, December 22nd through Monday, January 1st for Winter Break. We will be back in session on Tuesday, January 2nd.

Holidays
Sunshine After School will be CLOSED from Friday, December 22nd through Monday, January 1st for Winter Break. We will be open for our Full Day Program from Tuesday, January 2nd to Friday, January 5th for students who have signed up. Sunshine will be back to our regular After School schedule on Monday, January 8th. 

Full Day Program & Winter Break  
Sunshine School will be OPEN on the following days during Winter Break: Tuesday, January 2nd to Friday, January 5th as well as Monday, January 15th for MLK Day from 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Families will need to sign-up and pay to reserve a space for their child during those dates. Parents can pay online through their Sunshine account or at the Sunshine Office (1363 Turlock Lane). Space is LIMITED so please sign up as soon as possible. The tuition is $400 for all five days or $95 per day.

Tuition
Tuition is due by the 1st of every month. Parents may check their balance online at www.mysunshineschool.com. Please pay the amount owed by December 10th or a late fee of 10% will apply. Thank you for your cooperation. 

Picture Day Orders
Families who submitted their picture order forms online by the deadline on November 23rd should expect their photos to arrive to Sunshine by Friday, December 8th. Orders submitted after the deadline will be delivered directly to their home address. 

Spring 2024 Extracurricular Sign-up
Sign-ups for Spring 2024 Extracurricular classes are here! Please review our available classes here: Spring 2024 Extracurriculars. A brief description of some of our classes can viewed on our Extracurricular Flyer Brochure.

Families may use the following link to sign-up for Extracurricular Classes or turn in a hard copy of the form to your child's lead teacher or to the Sunshine Office (1363 Turlock Lane).

The last day to sign up for Extracurricular Classes is Tuesday, January 16th. 

Extracurricular classes will begin on the week of January 22nd. We will be sending out the roster and updated schedule once the roster has been finalised.

  • Zumba & Reading (1st Grade & up): December 4th 
  • Art Fundamentals, Manga & Comic, & Reading (TK & K): December 6th
  • Kung Fu & Clay Art: December 7th
  • Chinese Enrichment: December 8th
  • Competitive Math & Chess: December 12th (make-up for cancelled class on 11/7)
  • Soccer: December 14th (make-up for cancelled class on 9/14)
  • Spanish: December 15th
